STRAND 05: UNDERSTANDING DMX FROM DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION TO TROUBLESHOOTING (1.00 LU) This course takes the attendee through identifying the needs of the space based upon fixture inventory, design layout and programming requirements of the performance spaces needs to provide distributed power and data. STRAND 04: POWER AND DATA PRINCIPLES AND APPLICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE SPACES (1.00 LU)ĭiscusses the dimming, relay, power and data applications for performance spaces from retrofit to new construction. This course takes the attendee through identifying the programming of a performance space through the completion of the commissioning to the end user’s satisfaction. STRAND 03: SPECIFICATIONS AND COMMISSIONING OF PERFORMANCE SPACES (1.00 LU)ĭiscusses the performance space specification process from concept to implementation. This course discusses the requirements for all necessary entertainment lighting components as well as holistic requirements for the performance lighting system. STRAND 02: THEATRE SYSTEMS DESIGN BASICS: The Future Is Now (1.00 LU)ĭiscusses criteria needed for designing a theatrical space and the programming needs of a typical educational performance space.
